vintage comics
Old illustrated serials
Vintage comics are comic books or comic strips from an earlier era, typically at least several decades old.
The term usually refers to American comics from the 1930s through the 1970s—the Golden Age and Silver Age of superhero comics—though it applies to any comics valued for their age and collectibility: He found a box of vintage comics in his grandfather's attic.
Condition matters enormously to collectors; a mint-condition vintage comic can fetch thousands.
