velcro strap
Ripping closure strip
A velcro strap is a fastening strip that uses hook-and-loop closure—tiny hooks on one surface gripping tiny loops on another.
Velcro straps secure cables, bundle items, or adjust fit on shoes, bags, and medical braces: She tightened the velcro strap on her wrist brace.
The satisfying rip when pulling them apart is distinctive.
