vanishers
Ones who disappear
Vanishers are people or things that vanish—disappear suddenly or completely.
The word appears in fantasy and science fiction for characters with powers of invisibility or teleportation: The vanishers slipped through the barrier undetected.
More broadly, it can describe anyone who disappears from situations or relationships without explanation: He was one of those vanishers who ghosted after the third date.
