vaccine skeptic
Shot-wary individual
A vaccine skeptic is someone who doubts the safety, efficacy, or necessity of vaccines.
The term covers a spectrum from those with specific concerns about particular vaccines to those who reject vaccination entirely.
Unlike the blunter anti-vaxxer, vaccine skeptic suggests someone open to evidence rather than ideologically opposed: She describes herself as a vaccine skeptic, not an anti-vaxxer.
