Usernames are the names people choose to identify themselves on websites, apps, and online services.
A username is typically paired with a password to log in: I forgot my username.
Unlike real names, usernames are often creative, anonymous, or pseudonymous: Her username was xX_DarkAngel_Xx.
Some platforms use email addresses as usernames instead.
