PINs

ATM access codes

PINs is the plural of PIN, a personal identification number used to verify identity when accessing accounts, unlocking devices, or completing transactions.

Banks require PINs at ATMs and for debit card purchases; smartphones accept PINs as an alternative to biometric authentication.

Despite security advice to use unique codes, many people choose predictable sequences like birthdays or 1234.

I keep forgetting my PINs and locking myself out.
