usage rights
License to use
Usage rights are the permissions that govern how content—images, music, software, text—may be used by someone other than the creator or owner.
They specify whether you can copy, modify, distribute, or commercialize the material: The stock photo came with limited usage rights.
Usage rights range from restrictive (personal use only) to permissive (creative commons licenses allowing broad reuse).
Purchasing something doesn't automatically grant full usage rights; a buyer may own a copy but not the right to reproduce or resell it.
