terms of service
Website legal agreement
Terms of service are the rules and conditions you agree to when using a website, app, or service.
Usually presented as a lengthy legal document that users must accept before proceeding, they cover what the provider allows, what they're liable for, and what rights users retain or forfeit: I didn't read the terms of service—nobody does.
Often abbreviated TOS.
