types out
Enters via keyboard
Types out means to produce text by typing, usually on a keyboard, with emphasis on the complete or deliberate nature of the action.
Someone types out a message, a letter, or a response rather than speaking it or writing by hand: She typed out a quick reply before leaving.
The "out" adds a sense of completion or effort—you don't just type, you type the whole thing out: He typed out the entire manuscript in three weeks.
