travel permit
Document allowing entry
A travel permit is an official document authorizing someone to enter, leave, or move through a particular area.
Governments issue travel permits when movement is restricted—during wartime, in border zones, or for visits to controlled regions: You'll need a travel permit to enter the military zone.
The term also applies to documents authorizing transport of goods or vehicles.
