trailer parks
Manufactured home neighborhoods
Trailer parks are residential areas where mobile homes or manufactured houses are clustered on rented lots, typically sharing utilities and common spaces.
The term carries class connotations in American English, often used dismissively to suggest poverty or lack of sophistication: trailer park trash.
More neutral terms include mobile home community or manufactured housing community.
