dead fish
Floater at surface
A dead fish is a limp, unresponsive handshake—one that offers no grip or pressure, just passive flesh.
The image is of a fish out of water, cold and slack.
The term is always derogatory: His dead fish handshake made a terrible first impression.
Extended to sex, a dead fish is a passive, unenthusiastic partner who just lies there.
