torn paper
Shredded document remains
Torn paper is paper that has been ripped rather than cut, leaving irregular, fibrous edges.
The technique appears in art and craft contexts where the rough, organic edges create texture or visual interest that clean cuts cannot achieve: a collage made from torn paper, torn paper edges give the invitation a handmade feel.
