Spring-wing wall anchors
Toggle bolts are fasteners designed for hollow walls where there's nothing solid behind the surface to grip.
The bolt passes through a hinged wing mechanism that folds flat for insertion, then springs open inside the cavity to distribute weight across a larger area.
They're the standard solution for hanging heavy items on drywall: I used toggle bolts to mount the TV bracket.
