In hotel and restaurant grading, three stars often marks the upper tier—a three-star Michelin rating is the highest honor a restaurant can receive: It's one of only twelve three-star restaurants in the country.
In review systems using five stars, three stars suggests average or acceptable quality: I'd give it three stars—decent but nothing special.
