testatrix
Woman leaving property
A testatrix is a woman who has made a will.
The term is the feminine form of testator, following Latin grammatical gender.
In modern legal practice, testator increasingly covers all genders, making testatrix somewhat old-fashioned, though it still appears in formal legal documents: The testatrix left her estate to her three daughters.
