synchronized skating

Choreographed group ice

Synchronized skating is a team figure skating discipline in which twelve to twenty skaters perform choreographed routines together on ice, executing formations, transitions, and elements in unison.

Unlike pairs or ice dancing, the emphasis is on collective precision rather than individual athleticism: The synchronized skating team moved as one across the rink.
