singles skating
One-person ice performance
Singles skating is a figure skating discipline in which one skater performs alone, as opposed to pairs skating or ice dancing.
The skater executes jumps, spins, and footwork sequences, judged on both technical difficulty and artistic presentation: She won gold in women's singles skating at the Olympics.
