swooper
One who plunges
A swooper is someone or something that swoops—descending rapidly and dramatically, often to seize or attack.
Birds of prey are natural swoopers, diving from height to catch their quarry.
The term extends to people who move in suddenly and decisively: She's a swooper who grabs the last donut before anyone notices.
In skydiving, a swooper performs high-speed landings by building momentum in a steep descent before leveling off near the ground.
