supper-time
Evening meal period
Supper-time is the period of the evening when supper is typically eaten, usually between 5 and 7 PM depending on regional and family customs.
In areas where supper refers to a light evening meal rather than dinner, supper-time may fall later.
The children always get hungry around supper-time.
The hyphenated form is traditional but increasingly gives way to the solid compound suppertime.
