sulkies

Harness racing vehicles

Sulkies are lightweight two-wheeled carts used in harness racing, pulled by a single horse with the driver seated behind.

The design is minimal—little more than a seat, frame, and wheels—built for speed rather than comfort.

Also called a racing sulky or bike.

Outside racing, a sulky is any similar small cart, including those pushed by parents for toddlers.
