street musician
Plays for tips
A street musician is a person who performs music in public places for tips from passersby.
They play on sidewalks, in subway stations, at markets, or in pedestrian areas.
The practice is also called busking, and the performers buskers.
A street musician with a violin drew a small crowd outside the train station.
