bucket drums
Sidewalk plastic rhythm
Bucket drums are makeshift percussion instruments created from plastic buckets, typically five-gallon containers, played by striking them with drumsticks or hands.
Associated with street performers and buskers, bucket drumming produces surprisingly varied rhythms and tones depending on where and how the bucket is struck.
A bucket drummer on the subway platform drew a crowd with his polyrhythmic beats.
