step-niece
Sibling's stepchild, female
A step-niece is the daughter of one's stepsibling, or the stepdaughter of one's sibling.
The relationship arises through marriage rather than blood: My step-niece is coming to Thanksgiving this year.
Like other step-relations, the term describes family bonds created when parents remarry.
