step-nephew
Remarriage family extension
A step-nephew is the son of one's stepsibling, or the stepson of one's sibling.
The relationship arises through remarriage rather than blood: My stepbrother's kids are technically my step-nephews, but I just call them my nephews.
Like other step- relationships, the term is used mainly when the distinction matters.
