spirit fingers
Cheerleader hand flutter
Spirit fingers is a cheerleading gesture where the hands are held up with fingers spread wide and wiggled rapidly, creating a shimmery effect.
The move became a cultural touchstone after the 2000 film *Bring It On*, where it's treated as the height of enthusiasm—or mockery of excessive pep: She did spirit fingers to celebrate the good news.
