spinning kick
Turning leg attack
A spinning kick is a martial arts strike where the attacker rotates their body—usually a full 360 degrees—before delivering the kick, generating additional momentum and power.
Common in taekwondo, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts, spinning kicks include the spinning back kick, spinning heel kick, and spinning hook kick.
The rotation can make them harder to see coming but also riskier if the fighter loses balance: He caught her with a devastating spinning kick to the head.
