full rotation

Three-sixty degree turn

A full rotation is one complete turn around a central axis, returning to the starting position—360 degrees or 2π radians.

The term applies to spinning objects, rotating bodies, and cyclical processes: The Earth completes a full rotation every 24 hours.

In gymnastics and skateboarding, a full rotation means spinning the body completely around: She landed the full rotation cleanly.
