speedpaints
Fast-forwarded drawing videos
Speedpaints are videos showing the creation of digital artwork in accelerated time, compressing hours of work into minutes.
Artists record their process in programs like Photoshop or Procreate, then speed up the footage to share online: I watched a speedpaint of her latest portrait.
The term also refers to the artworks produced this way or the practice itself.
