spawn point
Player appearance spot
A spawn point is a location in a video game where a player's character appears or reappears—at the start of a game, after dying, or when entering a new area.
Games may have fixed spawn points or generate them dynamically.
The term extends to any designated starting position: Let's meet at the spawn point.
In online games, spawn camping means waiting near a spawn point to attack players as they appear.
