AFK

Not at computer

AFK is internet slang for "away from keyboard," indicating temporary absence from one's computer or device.

Widely used in gaming and online chat: BRB, AFK, He went AFK mid-game.

The term has broadened to mean any brief unavailability, even offline: I'm going AFK this weekend—no emails. (Lowercase afk is the same term.)
