sonneteers
Rhyme scheme masters
Sonneteers are poets who write sonnets—the fourteen-line poems with fixed rhyme schemes.
The term can be neutral, simply describing practitioners of the form, but often carries a faintly dismissive tone, suggesting poets who churn out sonnets mechanically or pretentiously: The coffee house was full of would-be sonneteers reciting their latest compositions.
