solderers
Circuit board workers
Solderers are people who solder—joining metal parts by melting a filler metal into the joint.
The term applies to workers in electronics manufacturing, plumbing, jewelry making, and similar trades: The solderers on the assembly line worked in shifts.
Also refers casually to hobbyists: weekend solderers building their own circuits.
