skinflicks
X-rated movie fare
Skinflicks are pornographic or erotic films—movies featuring extensive nudity and sexual content.
The term combines skin (exposed flesh) with flick (slang for movie): The theater showed skinflicks after midnight.
The word feels slightly dated, from an era when such films were sold in shops or shown in specialized theaters rather than streamed online.
