peep shows
Adult arcade booths
Peep shows are forms of entertainment viewed through a small opening or window.
Originally, these were boxes containing pictures or scenes viewed through a peephole.
The term now primarily refers to coin-operated booths showing pornographic films, or live performances where a customer watches a nude or semi-nude performer through a window: The seedy district was lined with peep shows and adult bookstores.
