silkscreen printing
Squeegee through mesh
Silkscreen printing is a technique for reproducing images by forcing ink through a fine mesh screen onto a surface below.
Areas of the screen are blocked to create the design—ink passes only through open sections.
Each color requires a separate screen.
The method works on paper, fabric, glass, and other materials, making it popular for posters, T-shirts, and fine art prints.
Also called screen printing or serigraphy.
