sheller
Removes outer coverings
A sheller is a device or machine that removes shells from nuts, seeds, or other products: a peanut sheller, a corn sheller.
The term also applies to a person who shells things, whether commercially or casually: The shellers worked through bushels of pecans.
In seafood contexts, someone who shucks oysters or clams may be called a sheller.
