Loose-skinned Chinese dog
A shar-pei is a Chinese breed of dog known for its deeply wrinkled skin and blue-black tongue.
The loose, folded skin is most pronounced in puppies and smooths somewhat with age.
Originally bred for guarding and fighting, the breed is now kept as a companion dog: Their shar-pei puppy looked like it was wearing a suit three sizes too big.
