sentiencies
States of feeling
Sentiencies is the plural of sentience—the capacity for conscious experience, feeling, or awareness.
The word appears in philosophical and scientific discussions about which beings possess inner experience: The sentiencies of various species remain poorly understood.
It can also refer to distinct instances or types of conscious awareness: alien sentiencies, artificial sentiencies.
