senhorita
Young Brazilian woman
Senhorita is the Portuguese equivalent of "miss"—a title for an unmarried woman or young girl.
Like the Spanish señorita, it precedes a name as a form of address: Senhorita Costa will see you now.
In Brazilian Portuguese, the word is increasingly old-fashioned, as formal address becomes less common in everyday speech.
