sea snails
Conchs and periwinkles
Sea snails are marine gastropod mollusks—snails that live in salt water.
They include thousands of species, from tiny periwinkles to large conchs and whelks.
Many have spiral shells; some, like sea slugs, have none.
Sea snails move on a muscular foot and are found in oceans worldwide, from tidal pools to deep sea floors.
