roll-top
Desk's sliding lid
Roll-top describes a desk or similar furniture with a flexible cover made of parallel wooden slats that slides up and back to reveal the work surface: She pushed up the roll-top to find the old letters still inside.
A roll-top desk typically has a curved top that accommodates the retracted cover.
