pedestal desk
Dual-cabinet writing table
A pedestal desk is a large flat-topped desk supported by two stacks of drawers—one on each side—rather than legs.
The pedestals provide substantial storage while creating a knee space between them.
This is the classic executive desk found in offices and studies: He sat behind a massive oak pedestal desk.
