road junction
Where roads meet
A road junction is a point where two or more roads meet or cross, allowing traffic to move between them.
The term encompasses everything from simple T-intersections to complex interchanges with multiple levels and turning lanes.
In British usage especially, junction often appears with numbers to identify specific points along motorways: Take the M25 and exit at junction 12.
