reinoculated
Given another shot
Reinoculated means inoculated again—given a second or subsequent dose of a vaccine, serum, or other biological agent.
The term appears in medical and agricultural contexts when initial inoculation needs repeating: The cattle were reinoculated after the first treatment proved ineffective.
It can also describe reintroducing microorganisms to a culture or soil.
