reinfusion
Fluid put back
Reinfusion is the return of blood or other bodily fluids to the patient from whom they were taken.
In medicine, this typically involves collecting blood lost during surgery and transfusing it back: The surgical team used a cell saver for autologous reinfusion.
The term also appears in contexts where any previously extracted substance is reintroduced.
