red cell count
Blood corpuscle measurement
Red cell count is a measure of the number of red blood cells in a volume of blood, typically expressed as millions per microliter.
It's a standard component of blood tests, helping diagnose conditions like anemia (low count) or polycythemia (high count): Her red cell count came back low, so the doctor ordered more tests.
Also called RBC count.
