quokkas
Small Australian wallabies
Quokkas are small marsupials native to Western Australia, known for their rounded faces and apparent smile.
About the size of a domestic cat, they've become internet-famous for photos where they seem to be grinning: We took a quokka selfie on Rottnest Island.
The singular is quokka.
