Drag for updates
Pull to refresh is a touchscreen gesture where dragging downward from the top of a list or feed reloads its content.
The motion mimics pulling down a spring-loaded shade.
Introduced on smartphones, it became standard for social media apps and email: I pulled to refresh but there were no new messages.
The gesture has become almost compulsive for some users checking for updates.
