lock screen
Device access checkpoint
A lock screen is the display that appears on a smartphone, tablet, or computer when the device is locked, requiring authentication before access is granted.
It typically shows the time, date, and notifications while blocking entry to apps and personal data.
Users unlock it via passcode, pattern, fingerprint, or facial recognition.
I can see who texted me from the lock screen without unlocking my phone.
